This is our first time ever highlighting Clone 412 Cabernet Sauvignon as a single bottling. Ever since planting this block in 2015, and harvesting for the first time in 2018, we’ve had our eyes on this block with its extremely promising quality. The 412 came highly recommended by a few different respected WA winemakers. The aroma is full of bright, red fruit characteristics—Bing cherry and strawberry. On the palate it’s concentrated but has a fresh mouthwatering acidity—baking spices, plum, and blackberry. Drink now with a good 30+ minute decant, it’s actually quite open and enjoyable in its youth but we recommend waiting a few years if you can. Should last 15+ years in your cellar.
