This is the second time highlighting Clone 412 Cabernet Sauvignon as a single bottling. Ever since planting this block in 2015, and harvesting for the first time in 2018, we’ve had our eyes on this block with its extremely promising quality. The 412 came highly recommended by a few different respected WA winemakers but plantings of this clone are still rare in the Columbia Valley. The aroma is full of bright, red fruit characteristics—raspberry and strawberry. On the palate it’s concentrated but has a fresh mouthwatering acidity—vanilla bean, plum, and Bing cherry. Drink now with a good 30+ minute decant, it’s actually quite open and enjoyable in its youth but we recommend waiting a few years if you can. Should last 15+ years in your cellar.
