This is the fourth ever 100% varietal Malbec out of the Fidélitas Estate. The extremely warm and low elevation conditions on Red Mountain create a style of Malbec that is rich and plush in structure and has loads of dark fruit characteristics on the palate. In the glass the wine is an opaque purple almost black color with a bright magenta ring. On the aroma we get black berry, blueberry, and plum. The palate is extremely full and rich, with classic Red Mountain dusty tannin structure and white pepper & vanilla bean on the finish. Pair this wine with tacos and all sorts of BBQ—do as the Argentians do. Drink now or through 2035.

95 - The 2021 Estate Malbec was stored in 25% new American oak barrels for 18 months prior to bottling. Brooding in the glass, this delivers plenty of rich dark fruits on the palate, alongside huckleberry compote, dark chocolate shavings and a graphite edge.
