This is the 11th vintage of our 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our home vineyard on Red Mountain.  The blend of Clones 2 & 6 Cabernet fermented mostly in oak creates a silky tannin structure and rich mid-palate that are signature characteristics of this wine from vintage to vintage. On the aroma we get notes of cedar, baking spices, black currant, and black cherry. The palate is rich and full with well integrated new oak structure—blue berry, raspberry, and vanilla bean. This wine is a joy to make as we see the complexity and quality continue to increase as these relatively young vines continue to mature. We recommend laying this one down for a good 3-5 years before enjoying and should last a good 15+ years in your cellar. If you open it young give it a good hour plus decant.
